The exception is a coin of fifty cents, made in the form of a regular tetrahedron. On the obverse of the coins there is an image of the profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain (as the official head of the Commonwealth of Australia), and on the reverse there are animals of Australia.

The Aruban Florin was first seen in January 1986 when it replaced the Guild of the Netherlands Antilles at 1:1. The Aruban Florin was introduced after Aruba received its separate status from the King...dom of the Netherlands in 1986. Previously, the Antillean guilder was the currency of Aruba. Until March 1, 2012, in the All-Russian Classifier of Currencies it was called the Aruban guilder.
