Kwanza is the official Angolan currency. The Angolan kwanza has the international designation AOA, and the designation Kzr is accepted within the country. This Angolan currency has been in effect sin...ce 2000, when the denomination of banknotes took place. The name of the currency of Angola comes from the name of the main river. During the entire existence of the monetary life of Angola, the kwanza was reborn several times. The first version of the kwanza was released in 1977, replacing the previous escudo at a ratio of 1:1. The first kwanza lived until 1990 and then was replaced by a new kwanza. But local residents could not sufficiently exchange old money for new ones, but they could convert money into government debt obligations. In 1995, in parallel with the existing kwanza, another adjusted kwanza was issued.

The single monetary unit used in internal and, in part, in external settlements of Georgia is the Georgian lari. Previously, before the collapse of the USSR and the separation of Georgia, the banknotes of the USSR, Soviet rubles, were used in calculations, then they were temporarily replaced by Georgian coupons. However, the use of coupons in Georgia lasted only 4 years - in 1995, by a decree of President Shevardnadze, the lari was introduced into circulation. The design of banknotes was entrusted by the Central Bank to European designers, in particular, French and Slovak craftsmen made their contribution. The currency of Georgia contains images of cultural figures and national heroes, and on the reverse, the reverse side of banknotes and coins, there are images of architectural and art monuments belonging to Georgia.
