History reference:
The Brunei dollar is the currency of Brunei. Early currency in Brunei included cowrie shells. Brunei is famous for its bronze teapots, which were used as currency in trade along the coast of North Bo...rneo. Brunei issued pewter coins called pitis in 1285 AH (1868 AD). Their issue followed the one cent coins in 1304 AH. (1888 AD). This cent was equal to one hundredth of a dollar. The Brunei dollar replaced the Malayan dollar and the British Borneo dollar in 1967 after the formation of Malaysia and the independence of Singapore. Until June 23, 1973, the Malaysian ringgit was exchanged at par for the Singapore dollar and the Brunei dollar.

History reference:
The state monetary unit of Hungary is the Hungarian Forint (Hungarian Forint, international code - HUF). Used since 1946, before that the pengő was used as the Hungarian currency, which could not su...rvive the largest hyperinflation in history. Previously, forints had small change coins - fillers, but now they are out of circulation. When the Hungarian National Bank first issued the new currency, banknotes denoting 10 and 100 forints entered circulation. Each forint was subdivided into 100 fillers. Until 1991, following the inflationary processes, the National Bank expanded the available set of banknotes by issuing banknotes with a higher denomination. Later, it was decided to revise the design of the currency, and since 2001, on each banknote, on the one hand, a Hungarian statesman is depicted, and on the other, an event associated with his activities. It should be noted that there are no watermarks on the forints. Protection against counterfeiters is provided, first of all, by a holographic strip.
