History reference:
The Congolese franc has been the national currency and money of the Democratic Republic of the Congo since 1911 (from 1967 to 1997 in the country, in connection with the renaming of the country to Za...ire, it was renamed the new Zaire). The old name and country and money returned in 1997. In 1998, the Congolese franc was again declared the monetary unit, replacing the new zaire in the ratio: franc = 100,000 new zaire. The Bank of Zaire is renamed the Central Bank of the Congo. Banknotes of the 1997 sample were put into circulation.

The first Burmese money were coins - kyat and pya, issued in the second half of the 19th century. These coins were in circulation until April 1, 1892. A year later, Burma falls under the dependence of British India, and the Indian rupee is introduced into the country, which later becomes the Burmese rupee.
