That is why the word "crown" is still considered not only the name of money, but also the crown - the symbol of the ancient Czech kingdom. For the first time, money appeared on the lands of modern Czech Republic in 120 BC. The tribe, located in the place where today is Prague, minted gold coins for trade with neighbors. The Czech crown became the national currency of the Czech lands only at the end of the 19th century. After Austria-Hungary collapsed in 1918, Czechoslovakia appeared on the map of Europe.

The state monetary unit of Hungary is the Hungarian Forint (Hungarian Forint, international code - HUF). When the Hungarian National Bank first issued the new currency, banknotes denoting 10 and 100 forints entered circulation. Each forint was subdivided into 100 fillers. Until 1991, following the inflationary processes, the National Bank expanded the available set of banknotes by issuing banknotes with a higher denomination. Later, it was decided to revise the design of the currency, and since 2001, on each banknote, on the one hand, a Hungarian statesman is depicted, and on the other, an event associated with his activities. It should be noted that there are no watermarks on the forints. Protection against counterfeiters is provided, first of all, by a holographic strip.
