The Guernsey Pound is the currency of Guernsey, a tiny island in the English Channel. GGP is the currency code for the Guernsey pound, which is the official currency of Guernsey. In 1921, Guernsey switched completely to pounds, pegging its pound to the British as 1:1, and in 1971 the decimal system was introduced.
