The Guernsey Pound is the currency of Guernsey, a tiny island in the English Channel. GGP is the currency code for the Guernsey pound, which is the official currency of Guernsey. Until 1834, Guernsey... used the French livre as currency, and then until 1921, French francs were accepted as payment. Afghani is the official currency of Afghanistan. The currency has a long history and was introduced in 1926. Then it looked like a coin made of 900 silver and contained 10 g of pure silver. During the period of anarchy, warlords and other political movements used their own Afghanis. Until 2002, there were two types of Afghani in circulation: “pressure”, issued by the central government and “dostumi”, issued by order of General Dostum in the territory under his control. Outwardly, they did not differ, the difference is only at face value. The special currency of the Northern Alliance was also used. All banknotes since the April Revolution were printed in the USSR, then Russia.
