On January 6, 1986, instead of force, the Guinean franc was reintroduced (fifth reform), the exchange of force for francs was carried out 1: 1 in the period from January 6 to January 28, 1986.

The national currency of Egypt is the Egyptian pound or guinea, pronounced el-Giney, el-Mashri). Banknotes of 25 and 50 piastres, as well as 1 pound, actually went out of circulation, just as banknotes of 5 and 10 piastres went out of circulation earlier.
