The Croatian kuna is the national currency of Croatia (denoted as HRK or Kn). The chosen name “kuna” is not accidental, it comes from “marten”, it was her skins that were previously used for payment. The same animal adorns the coins of the country. HRK appeared in circulation in 1994 instead of the Croatian dinar, which appeared in 1991 as a result of secession from Yugoslavia. Since 1995, the kuna has remained the only national currency in Croatia.

The reverse side of the 50 licente coin contains the image of a rider on a horse, the 2 maloti coin is decorated with the image of five corn inflorescences, the reverse side of the 5 maloti coin is similarly decorated. On the front side of the 1 loti coin there is a portrait of the king of Lesotho, Moshen I, who in the first half of the 19th century. did everything to unite all the tribes that then lived on the territory of modern Lesotho, thereby ending internecine wars. Coins are mostly made of steel.
