History reference:
The rial was the currency of Persia from 1798 to 1825 and of Iran since 1932. The rial first became the derivative currency of Iran (at that time Persia) in 1798. Rials were introduced as coins with ...a denomination of 1250 dinars (bargaining unit) or 1/8 fog (basic unit). In 1825, the rial ceased to be issued and until 1932 the currency of Iran was the Persian fog. The peculiarity of Iranian coins is that they are dated according to the Solar Hijri. Compared to the Gregorian calendar, there is a lag of 622 years. So, 1390 p. Hijri correspond to the year 2011 of our calendar. In addition, the coins of the Shah period are dated both according to the Hijri and according to the so-called Monarchic solar year, which is ahead by 559 years.

History reference:
The Swiss franc is the official currency of Switzerland. The history of the modern Swiss franc dates back to May 7, 1850. Until that day, the country did not have a single monetary system: 25 cantons... and half-cantons, 16 cities, and abbeys issued their own money. There were about 860 types of coins of various values and denominations in circulation. Moreover, most of the money circulation accounted for foreign money in general. The situation was changed by the constitution of 1848, in accordance with which a single national currency was introduced. Due to the flexible exchange rate, the strong development of the Swiss economy and the political stability of the country, the Swiss franc is one of the most stable currencies in the world, in high demand as a reserve. It traditionally refers to the currencies of tax havens or offshore zones, with zero inflation and legally fixed gold and foreign exchange reserves of at least 40%. However, this condition, introduced in the 1920s, was abolished on 1 May 2000 due to amendments to the Swiss Constitution. The high confidence of international investors is the reason for the upward trend in the exchange rate of the franc against most other national currencies.
