History reference:
The Jersey Pound is the currency of Jersey. The official languages of Jersey are English and French, since 2010 the denomination is indicated on banknotes in English (in pounds) and French (in livres...). The Jersey pound is pegged to the pound sterling at a ratio of 1:1. British coins are freely accepted on the island. Notes of the Bank of England, Scottish and Northern Irish banks, as well as Guernsey, while not being legal tender, can be accepted on the island. The Indonesian rupiah (Indon. rupiah) is the official currency of Indonesia. The symbol used on all banknotes and coins is Rp. The unit of exchange is sen (Indon. sen), one hundredth of a rupee.
