The Comorian franc is the currency of the state of Comoros. The Comoros entered the franc zone in 1976. The name of the national currency is borrowed from the former metropolis, which is quite typical for states that were former colonies of France. The Comorian franc was put into circulation almost immediately after the countrys independence, replacing the French colonial franc. The Central Bank of Comoros, which is the main and only issuer of the national currency in the country, exchanged French colonial francs for the national currency at a ratio of one to one. But the relatively high exchange rate of the Comorian franc did not last long. During the period of the 80-90s of the last century, as a result of inflationary processes, it depreciated quite a lot, after which smaller denominations and coins were withdrawn from circulation.

Kwanza is the official Angolan currency. The Angolan kwanza has the international designation AOA, and the designation Kzr is accepted within the country. During the entire existence of the monetary life of Angola, the kwanza was reborn several times. The first version of the kwanza was released in 1977, replacing the previous escudo at a ratio of 1:1. The first kwanza lived until 1990 and then was replaced by a new kwanza. But local residents could not sufficiently exchange old money for new ones, but they could convert money into government debt obligations. In 1995, in parallel with the existing kwanza, another adjusted kwanza was issued.
