The Comorian franc is the currency of the state of Comoros. But the relatively high exchange rate of the Comorian franc did not last long. During the period of the 80-90s of the last century, as a result of inflationary processes, it depreciated quite a lot, after which smaller denominations and coins were withdrawn from circulation.
