History reference:
The Comorian franc is the currency of the state of Comoros. Comoros is a small island nation located in the Indian Ocean off the eastern coast of Africa. 3 languages are recognized as official here: ...French, Comorian, Arabic, which is reflected in the inscriptions on banknotes and coins of Comoros. The Comoros entered the franc zone in 1976. The name of the national currency is borrowed from the former metropolis, which is quite typical for states that were former colonies of France. The Comorian franc was put into circulation almost immediately after the countrys independence, replacing the French colonial franc. The Central Bank of Comoros, which is the main and only issuer of the national currency in the country, exchanged French colonial francs for the national currency at a ratio of one to one. But the relatively high exchange rate of the Comorian franc did not last long. During the period of the 80-90s of the last century, as a result of inflationary processes, it depreciated quite a lot, after which smaller denominations and coins were withdrawn from circulation.

The Jersey Pound is the currency of Jersey. The official languages of Jersey are English and French, since 2010 the denomination is indicated on banknotes in English (in pounds) and French (in livres...). The Jersey pound is pegged to the pound sterling at a ratio of 1:1. British coins are freely accepted on the island. Notes of the Bank of England, Scottish and Northern Irish banks, as well as Guernsey, while not being legal tender, can be accepted on the island. In the UK, the Jersey currency is not officially solvent, but Jersey money can be accepted for payment along with your own. All banknotes of the new series featured a portrait of Elizabeth II, and the image of a cow was used as a watermark. In 2012, in honor of the anniversary of the British Queen, a commemorative series of 100 pounds banknotes was issued. It was a limited edition, reflecting the historical events of the reign of Elizabeth. The front side of the banknote is decorated with a realistic full-face portrait of the Queen.
