The Macedonian dinar (denar) has been the national currency and money of the Republic of North Macedonia since 1992 after the collapse of Yugoslavia. The coupons were printed on low-quality, low-security paper purchased in Slovenia. The circulation was printed by the printing house "October 11" (Prilep). The design of coupons was developed by an employee of the Prilep printing house within a week.
