The Kingdom of Nepal managed to make war with one of the largest states of that time - the British Empire. The fighting began in 1814 and ended two years later, in 1816. None of the parties won a clear victory, as a result of which a peace treaty was concluded that determined the borders of Nepal. They have remained unchanged to this day.
