History reference:
The Philippine peso is the national currency of the Philippines. In 1898, the country experienced a revolution and issued its own coins and paper money backed by the countrys resources. The Kuwaiti dinar is currently the national currency of Kuwait. The Kuwaiti dinar was introduced into circulation on April 1, 1961, replacing the Gulf rupee. The Kuwaiti dinar is three times stronger... than the dollar. In 2006, Kuwait revalued its national currency by 1% against the dollar. In 1990, Iraq occupied Kuwait, the Iraqi dinar was put into circulation, and during the six months of occupation, all cash was taken out of the country.
