The Sudanese pound is the national currency of the Republic of Sudan, temporary for the Republic of South Sudan. The lek is the monetary unit of Albania and has been in circulation since 1926 along with the Albanian franc. A lek was considered 1/5 of a gold franc. In 1965, a denomination was carried out in Albania.
