The Sudanese pound is the national currency of the Republic of Sudan, temporary for the Republic of South Sudan. In addition, along with the Egyptian pound, it acts as the currency of the Halayib Tri...angle. The territory of Sudan covers most of the African savannah in the geographic region of the same name in the valley of the upper Nile River, as well as the eastern part of the Darfur and Kordofan plateaus. Until 1957, the Egyptian pound was used as a means of payment in Sudan. In April of the same year, at a 1:1 exchange rate, the Egyptian pound was replaced by the Sudanese pound. On June 8, 1992, the government of Sudan carries out a monetary reform, as a result of which the Sudanese pound is replaced by the Sudanese dinar at an exchange rate of 10 pounds = 1 dinar.

History reference:
The Swiss franc is the official currency of Switzerland. The history of the modern Swiss franc dates back to May 7, 1850. Until that day, the country did not have a single monetary system: 25 cantons... and half-cantons, 16 cities, and abbeys issued their own money. There were about 860 types of coins of various values and denominations in circulation. Moreover, most of the money circulation accounted for foreign money in general. The situation was changed by the constitution of 1848, in accordance with which a single national currency was introduced. Due to the flexible exchange rate, the strong development of the Swiss economy and the political stability of the country, the Swiss franc is one of the most stable currencies in the world, in high demand as a reserve. It traditionally refers to the currencies of tax havens or offshore zones, with zero inflation and legally fixed gold and foreign exchange reserves of at least 40%. However, this condition, introduced in the 1920s, was abolished on 1 May 2000 due to amendments to the Swiss Constitution. The high confidence of international investors is the reason for the upward trend in the exchange rate of the franc against most other national currencies.
