History reference:
The Sudanese pound is the national currency of the Republic of Sudan, temporary for the Republic of South Sudan. In addition, along with the Egyptian pound, it acts as the currency of the Halayib Tri...angle. The territory of Sudan covers most of the African savannah in the geographic region of the same name in the valley of the upper Nile River, as well as the eastern part of the Darfur and Kordofan plateaus. In the northeast of the territory of Sudan, the Nubian Desert extends, adjacent to the coast of the Red Sea. The territory of Sudan is almost 1 million 900 thousand square kilometers. Until 1957, the Egyptian pound was used as a means of payment in Sudan. In April of the same year, at a 1:1 exchange rate, the Egyptian pound was replaced by the Sudanese pound. The 1957 Sudanese pound was used in circulation until 1992. On June 8, 1992, the government of Sudan carries out a monetary reform, as a result of which the Sudanese pound is replaced by the Sudanese dinar at an exchange rate of 10 pounds = 1 dinar.

History reference:
CLP in the foreign exchange markets stands for the abbreviation for Chiles currency, known as the Chilean peso. The "old" peso was used as the currency in Chile between 1917 and 1959, when the escudo... (CLE) came into effect. The current (or new) Chilean peso was reintroduced on September 29, 1975, replacing the escudo with an exchange of 1 peso for 1,000 escudos. The Chilean people also refer to their currency as "lukoi" when referring to the 1,000 peso note, "quina" for the 500 peso coin, and "gamba" for the 100 peso coin. On September 29, 1975, instead of the escudo, the peso was reintroduced, the escudos were exchanged for 1000:1 pesos. During the years of the dictatorship, on the obverse of the 5 and 10 peso coins, the image of a winged woman breaking the chains was used, with the signature LIBERTAD (freedom) and the date of the military coup 9/11/1973 - the figure symbolized "liberation from Marxism". After the restoration of civil power in Chile, the design of the coins was changed, the image of the national hero Bernardo OHiggins was placed on the obverse.
