History reference:
Afghani is the official currency of Afghanistan. The currency has a long history and was introduced in 1926. Then it looked like a coin made of 900 silver and contained 10 g of pure silver. At the ti...me of the appearance of the currency in the country, rupees were used, Indian, Kabul, Russian and Bukhara coins. Indian rupees were especially common. Afghanistans first own banknotes appeared only in 1935, when they were issued by the National Afghan Bank. In 1991, the banknotes of the period of the kingdom formally lost the force of legal tender, but in fact continued to be used in circulation. During the period of anarchy, warlords and other political movements used their own Afghanis. Until 2002, there were two types of Afghani in circulation: “pressure”, issued by the central government and “dostumi”, issued by order of General Dostum in the territory under his control. Outwardly, they did not differ, the difference is only at face value. The special currency of the Northern Alliance was also used. All banknotes since the April Revolution were printed in the USSR, then Russia.

The dollar (currency code - TTD) has been the official currency of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago since 1964 (before that, the British West Indies dollar was in circulation in the country). The ...history of currency in the former British colony of Trinidad and Tobago is closely linked to the history of the British Eastern Caribbean territories as a whole. The first currency used was the Spanish dollar, also known as the "figure of eight", which began to circulate in the 16th century. Proposals for the establishment of landowner-oriented banks in the West Indies were made in 1661 by the British government and in 1690 by Sir Thomas Dalby. Despite this, and the Queen Annes Proclamation of 1704, which brought the West Indies on the gold standard, the eight silver coins (Spanish dollars and then Mexican dollars) continued to form the bulk of circulating currency well into the second half of the nineteenth century.
